Any opinions on the Shimano SLX glass rods?

I am looking at getting a SLX MGL reel and noticed I can get a glass combo with a SLX glass rod for $30 more on American Legacy Fishing. Has anyone used one? I know they are pretty new but I’m looking for a square bill/shallow reaction rod.
