Any Spybait fishermen out there?

I’m pretty new to spybait fishing myself. I’ve only used it this past season. I really love it. It’s quickly become a confidence bait I have tied on a rod every trip. It’s really uped my finesse game.

But that’s the thing, it’s finesse. Medium or medium light spinning rod with 6-10lb line. I’ve recently come into a couple bigger spybaits. A 4″ 5/8th oz and a 5″ 1oz.

Does anyone have experience with bigger spybaits? What rod strength and line test do you recommend?
